All students who signed-up for the West Memphis School District Elementary Baseball Program there will be a Mandatory Parent meeting Wednesday 4/24/2024 at 5:00 p.m. at Jackson-Wonder Elementary School.
This is the second Elementary Sports Program coordinated by the WMSD student Engagement Team.
This meeting is mandatory or students will not be able to participate.
We are in need of volunteers to help with this program and this is a great opportunity to establish another Elementary Sports Program that will keep the kids active, and out of trouble.
Be on the lookout for Elementary Flag Football and Track.
The West Memphis School District has been approved to start a Elementary Flag Football Program under the NFL/Flag Football Program.
This will be a co-ed League and if possible based on the number of participants we will try to organize the teams and Cheerleaders by School so the community can cheer for its favorite neighborhood Elementary School and neighborhood children.
First let's make the initial, inaugural Elementary Baseball Program and Season a success by banding together and show what the West Memphis Community is really about.
WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE IT WORK SO VOLUNTEER ARE NEEDED TO HELP YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD STUDENT. IT'S OUR TIME TO GIVE BACK.
This is a program that is offered free to the student participants and is a program offered through direction of our school's superintendents and the West Memphis School Board.
Let's thank them for wanting to improve the quality of life for our Elementary students and approving and supporting programs such as the elementary sports program.
All participants will be contacted individually over the next few days about the meeting but spread the word!
All games and practices will be at Tilden Rogers Park. We will practice 1to 2 evenings a week and games are to be played on Saturday evenings.
