AWM Choir director, Amanda Daly, visited the Governor’s mansion today as a regional finalist for Teacher of the Year. She was honored at a luncheon with Governor Sarah Sanders and given an award for her dedication and commitment to the education profession. AWM principal, Jimmy Sloan, as well as Assistant Principal, Susan Waggener attended the ceremony to celebrate Ms. Daly. Also, in attendance to commend her were Mrs. Dunn, AWM’s theater teacher and Tamyia Weatherspoon, a former student. We are so proud of Ms. Daly and are fortunate she is an AWM Blue Devil!
